Bikes ‘n Wines, and Cape Canopy Tour join forces to launch the Cape’s newest Adventure Attraction – The Elgin Adventure Centre.

The beautiful Elgin Valley is a mere 60 minutes’ drive from the Mother City, and an ideal half-way stop en route to Hermanus, and the gateway to the Garden Route.

The Adventure Centre is located at the steampunk inspired Elgin Railway Market, launched in early 2018. The market is a destination unto itself, where art deco meets Victorian, and is unlike any other in South Africa.

Home to some of the country’s best biking and hiking trails, the Elgin Valley is the perfect backyard play area for adventurous travellers of all ages and abilities. At the Elgin Adventure Centre, curated outdoor exploration is core to the products on offer; Mountain Biking, EBike Wine Tours, Off-road Segway’s, Hiking, and much more, ensconced in the heart of a world heritage site.

Open 7 days a week for tours and activities, the Elgin Adventure Centre is perfect for a family day out, with a climbing wall on site to entertain the kids, whilst mom and dad enjoy a wine-tasting at one of Elgin valleys cool climate wine estates such as Oak Valley Estate and Paul Cluver Estate. With secure on-site vehicle parking, bike parking facilities as well as complimentary shower for our guests as well as a coffee shop on site, turn your weekend away into a micro adventure you won’t forget in a hurry.
